Community Code of Conduct

We have zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, hate speech, threats, personal attacks, or demeaning behavior of any kind. Talk to each other the way you'd want to be talked to. People who can't do that don't belong here.

You are encouraged to think critically and to challenge ideas, methods, and history. Bring your evidence, bring your experience, and make your case. What you may not do is attack the person instead of the idea.

Respect runs both ways — between students and between students and faculty. Nobody is above being questioned, and nobody is beneath being heard.

The people we bring on as faculty were selected for a reason: they are industry leaders and pioneers. Their methods, advice, wisdom, and counsel are tried and proven over decades of real work. That experience carries real weight, and it deserves a fair hearing.

At the same time, we are always willing to learn more — and everyone should be. Our faculty can be challenged on what they believe, just as you can. Being open to being wrong is part of the craft. The expectation is mutual respect while we push each other to get better.

If there's an area — a piece of history, a method, a position — that you fundamentally disagree with or have a serious problem with, please submit it to us and we will take it under advisement. We read it, we consider it, and we take it seriously.

Bring it to us respectfully and constructively rather than tearing into a person publicly. That's how this community gets smarter without getting smaller.

Violations may result in content removal, warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the community and platform, at our discretion. We aim to be fair, but protecting the community comes first.
