Privacy Policy

Last updated · June 3, 2026

Citadel Culebra is operated from California. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including the rights of California residents.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your email address when you join a waitlist or newsletter; your name, email, and account details if you create an account or enroll.
  • Payment information: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Usage information: basic technical data your browser sends (such as device type and pages viewed) that helps us keep the site working and secure.

How we use it

  • To respond to you, provide access to courses, community, and the platform, and process enrollments and payments.
  • To send you updates you asked for (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To operate, secure, and improve the site.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (for example, payment processing, hosting, and email delivery), and only as needed to provide the service — or when required by law.

Cookies & tracking

We use only the cookies and storage needed to make the site function. We honor browser Do-Not-Track signals where required by California law (CalOPPA). If we add analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide controls.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access and delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To make a request, email us at team@citadelculebra.com.

Children's privacy

Some Citadel programs are designed for young learners (Citadel Student). Children's programs require verifiable parental or guardian consent, and accounts for minors must be set up and managed by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without that consent. If you believe a child has provided us information without consent, contact us and we will delete it.

Data security & retention

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Your data rights (access, correction, deletion)

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email team@citadelculebra.com from the address on your account (or give us enough detail to verify your identity) and tell us what you'd like us to do.

We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. The legal bases we rely on are your consent, performing our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.
