Ball pythons and hognose are famous for it: weeks, sometimes months, of refused meals that look like an emergency and usually aren't. The skill isn't force-feeding — it's reading which refusals are seasonal, which are husbandry, and which are medical.

What this resource covers — seasonal fasting, breeding-season anorexia, temperature and security problems, prey type and presentation, when weight loss becomes a vet visit, and assist-feeding as a last resort.
